This was a recipe I pulled from a Kraft Food and Family magazine years ago
(back when they were free).
I love it becuase it's only 6 ingredients!
It cooks in the crock pot!
And it's super yummy!
I made a few minor adjustments, so here's my recipe.
Ingredients:
4 or 5 chicken breasts
2 tbsp. flour
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. ground ginger
As you can see I just use frozen chicken breasts. I rinse them and cut them into 3 or 4 pieces each. I drop them into a baggy with the four and shake until coated. Then I plop them into the crock pot.
I stir the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl. I also add about 3/4 to 1 cup of water. Then I pour the sauce over the chicken. And turn on the crock pot -
high power for 4 - 5 hours.
high power for 4 - 5 hours.
Be prepared! About an hour into it and the smell with have your mouth watering!
Doesn't it look just yummy served with some sticky rice and healthy green beans!
Enjoy!
Over from TGIF. This looks great and right up our alley. Plus, with a new baby in the house, a super simple recipe!
