School Has Started!!!

Touchdown is in 4th Grade
Squirt is in Preschool
Curly Girlie is in 2nd Grade

We've been chuggin' away at school for four weeks now -WHEW!  With a newborn, that's quite a feat.  We certainly haven't been able to do it all.  And some days have been real flops.  But to be honest, I'm rather impressed that I even started school with a 3-week old infant!

My oldest wanted to change his "blog name" this year to Touchdown.  He is in 4th grade...where has the time gone?!?!  Curly Girlie is in 2nd grade.  And Squirt is in Preschool.  And our littlest one...well, we'll just say she's in Snuggle School!

Here is what we have planned for this school year:

Welcome Baby!!!

In case you're wondering where I've been...

Our beautiful baby girl was born August 13.
She weighed in at 8 lbs. 15 oz. and 22 inches long.  (I tend to grow big babies!)
And she came into the world as calm as could be!
She was nicknamed Baby Bunny while we were expecting her, so we'll stick with that nickname here, too.

Before and After: the first picture is Baby Bunny's birthday and the second is one week later.

Isn't she just precious!

The Joyful Jar - An Attitude Booster

Summer has begun!  We have enjoyed some beautiful weather!  We are still wrapping up a few subjects from school, but for the most part we really have been enjoying the easy-going pace of summer.  Playing outside, riding bikes, running through the sprinkler and playing in our kiddie pool.  Working in the garden, grilling out, camping, digging for worms and little league baseball games.

Regular summer fun!

But their has been one area that has not been fun for anyone!  We've had a bit of an attitude problem at our house.  These things really sneak up on you until they seem out of control.  Arguments between the kids, rude talk, angry responses, yelling, and disrespectful attitudes even toward mom and dad.  Like I said, not fun for anyone!

So the other day I launched the Joyful Jar!
